Barite is a non-metallic mineral product with barium sulfate (BaBo4) as its main component. Pure barite is white and shiny, due to the influence of impurities and mixtures, it is often gray, light red, light yellow and other heavy stone hardness is 3~3.5(Mohs), the specific gravity is 4.2~4.5, with the characteristics of greater than, low hardness and brittleness. Barite is chemically stable, insoluble in water and hydrochloric acid, non-foaming in hydrochloric acid, non-magnetic and toxic.

Products Usage :

1, It is used in oil and gas exploitation industry and as a weighting agent for oil and gas drilling mud. Mud containing this weight agent can cool the bit, strengthen the wellbore, and control the pressure of oil and gas, thereby stabilizing oil and gas production and causing blowout accidents.
2, used in paint, paint - can be used as paint, paint filler instead of precipitation barium sulfate, litho powder, titanium dioxide, active silica and other expensive raw materials, suitable for controlling the viscosity of paint, so that the product color bright and stable.
