Vermiculite is a kind of layered magnesium containing water aluminosilicate secondary metamorphic minerals, usually by black (gold) mica through hydrothermal alteration or weathering, because of its heat loss when expansion is curved, the shape resembles leeches, so called vermiculite. It is divided into primary vermiculite and expanded vermiculite according to stage. According to the color classification can be divided into: gold, silver (milky white) .
